OK, I bought the wrong cable
I thought they were all the same. iPods are all the same aren't they?
Seems like the iPod Touch has a different spec for the interface. A power cable for a Nano won't recharge it. Or something.
Oh well, another trip to the techo shop and I got a new AC adaptor. Ripped it open, plugged it in, hooked it up.
Woo-hoo! I have power! I have recharge!
My iPod will last the whole night long.
And I downloaded some podcasts, bought a few music videos. I'll be looking for a bigger iPod soon.
And an iPhone. I want an iPhone.

"See it! Want it! Buy it!" Then before long -
"Buy a bigger one!"
If I could work out exactly what Ipods are I'd probably want one too.
But you really do need to be comfortable for the long hours that you are doing, so "Go man! Buy it!"

I prefer the Gigabeat to the I-Pod as do quite a few of my friends who don't have access to i-Tunes.

Silly man. Why would the pieces all be interchangeable when you can buy a new everything every time you upgrade the thing? ;) American business sense at work...

I almost impulse-bought a video iPod the other day, but it was on sale, so they'd sold out. I could have paid, and picked it up later, but that wasn't really an impulse buy, was it?
I've got an old clunky iPod, and, while I don't listen to it all the time, it is excellent for when I'm commuting and someone is having an inane conversation behind me on their mobile phone. *sigh*

I played with my sisters ipodnano video in the car today on the way back from woopwoop and now I want one! Hers is 8gig I think and she had 200 songs and about 12 movies! Whole movies, like Brokeback mountain.
I love my ipod but it is an old one (a mini 6 gig)

The iphone is slated for End of June 2008 early July 2008, with Telstra on a $80pm or more plan
Need Ipod Info I am the person who owns all of them so far except the touch. I saw it and thought what is the point of buying an iphone without the phone part?? I am waiting for the real thing. (Picton's household has three nanos, two shuffles (1 and 2) and 2 ipods we sold one :) NOT that we are obsessed or anything......)
ALso you can get (Not for the cab unless the owner allows you), and depending on the radio) an ipod cable attachment. After using a cable directly to the radio, you will never be happy with the quality from the transmitters. Trust me. My car has one I paid a lot of money to have factory fitted and I will never use the poorer quality radio thingys again. Maybe an idea for your car for drives to Sydney???
Genuine Ford Ipod part $146 only :) Any car radio installer could do it (Assuming your radio has a AUX jack on the back/front)

You'll have to let me know what you think of it internet-wise...

However, it is pocket internet, and in a pinch, it works. For those occasions where you don't want to take the laptop, but you want to check email or LJ on the go, say at a Strarbucks.
