I thought they were all the same. iPods are all the same aren't they?

Seems like the iPod Touch has a different spec for the interface. A power cable for a Nano won't recharge it. Or something.

Oh well, another trip to the techo shop and I got a new AC adaptor. Ripped it open, plugged it in, hooked it up.

Woo-hoo! I have power! I have recharge!

My iPod will last the whole night long.

And I downloaded some podcasts, bought a few music videos. I'll be looking for a bigger iPod soon.

And an iPhone. I want an iPhone.

No You want a classic, 160gb Ipod NOT the cute adorable nano. Go the whole hog and get the best of the ipods.

The iphone is slated for End of June 2008 early July 2008, with Telstra on a $80pm or more plan

Need Ipod Info I am the person who owns all of them so far except the touch. I saw it and thought what is the point of buying an iphone without the phone part?? I am waiting for the real thing. (Picton's household has three nanos, two shuffles (1 and 2) and 2 ipods we sold one :) NOT that we are obsessed or anything......)

ALso you can get (Not for the cab unless the owner allows you), and depending on the radio) an ipod cable attachment. After using a cable directly to the radio, you will never be happy with the quality from the transmitters. Trust me. My car has one I paid a lot of money to have factory fitted and I will never use the poorer quality radio thingys again. Maybe an idea for your car for drives to Sydney???

Genuine Ford Ipod part $146 only :) Any car radio installer could do it (Assuming your radio has a AUX jack on the back/front)

I hear the iTouch has WiFi capability. I've been looking around for a cheap, lightweight way of connecting to the internet while I'm travelling. Yes, I know, cheap and lightweight don't always go together when talking about technology!

You'll have to let me know what you think of it internet-wise...

Well, it works. But it's fiddly on the screen. You get the whole page, but it's real small. Of course you can blow up bits. Text entry isn't too bad - a nice little keyboard pops up on screen, but I'd hate to write a novel on it.

However, it is pocket internet, and in a pinch, it works. For those occasions where you don't want to take the laptop, but you want to check email or LJ on the go, say at a Strarbucks.

Not sure about the cab attachment. I'm leaving for a two month holiday next month, and I might get a different car on my return.

On thing you can help me with, and that's DVD ripping.
