Non-fiction, romantic novels, thrillers, currently reading Terry Pratchett, two philosophy books, the latest Robert Heinlein.

A couple of chapters. But I slept. Welcome to the weekend dozey daze of a night cabbie.

The last one. Kansas City, San Francisco, Route 66. Looking for America.

Where is the place you like to return in order to calm down / relax / etc.?
I love being beside a beautiful woman. Bountifulpots in KC. Shen at a Sharks game. DL on the Golden Gate Bridge. TW at the Stockyard Station. MJM in Chicago, Miriam at Portillo's, Cari on the Staten Island Ferry. My daughter in the Champagne Bar at LHR T5. My wife on the balcony with glasses of pear cider and Pimms. A hundred delightful others, who have deigned to share my life for moments, minutes, months or decades.

What's one thing that terrifies you that nobody else gets?
Kangaroos.

What color is your cell phone
iPhone in black silicone.

Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?
Knowing my parents when they were young. I'm far older now than they were then. I first met my parents when they were in their twenties.

What is your favorite kind of weather?
Clear and mild. Autumn or spring whether.
