OK, I bought the wrong cable

I thought they were all the same. iPods are all the same aren't they?

Seems like the iPod Touch has a different spec for the interface. A power cable for a Nano won't recharge it. Or something.

Oh well, another trip to the techo shop and I got a new AC adaptor. Ripped it open, plugged it in, hooked it up.

Woo-hoo! I have power! I have recharge!

My iPod will last the whole night long.

And I downloaded some podcasts, bought a few music videos. I'll be looking for a bigger iPod soon.

And an iPhone. I want an iPhone.

And there was I, getting quite carried away by your enthusiasm and thinking about getting one, particularly since my car's tape deck gave up and I don't want to buy a new one for an old car. But now I don't know if I could cope with all this, and the words of wisdom you have received here just make me more confused than ever :=(
