1. How much money is in your wallet right now?
Nothing, actuall, i pulled it all out for a garage sale at the local church which ended five minutes before I got there. Had a snag and onions for two bucks, and the ten dollars and change is still sitting beside my car keys.
2. How much money would you need in the bank to feel secure? Rich?
$500 000 - that would cover all my debt and leave a little left over to play with. Rich, maybe ten times that, given the cost of "rich" houses in this town.
3. If someone gave you $100, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
Give the kids a bonus and buy something nice for Kerri.
4. If someone gave you $1 Million, no strings attached, what would you do with it?
Pay off our mortgages, buy a bunch more shares, a few household renovations and furniture upgrades, replace one of our family sedans with a good small car.
5. How much does something have to cost before it starts counting as "real" money, as a purchase to be considered and evaluated, but below which you'll buy without really thinking about it?
Around $30, I guess.
(Of course, that "debt" of mine is fairly notional, but still, there it is on the bank statement - a debit amount that is a very big number indeed.)
