If this is Thursday it must be...
Apr. 22nd, 2005 03:22 pmHad a nap, woken up twice. First time I had that "where am I now" feeling I get from sleeping too many different places. Decided I liked the decor of the hotel room before realising with a shock that I was in my very on room at home.
Second time was due to the dog going berko. Yup, my yellow tote bag had made it home!
The kids loved the Pop Rocks and other candy/sweets/lollies. Wow. Big surprise.
I'll just go and put on the dinner roast and then crash out a bit more.

Glad you're safely back at home!
Date: 2005-04-22 03:24 pm (UTC)[I started BookCrossing Through Middle-Earth this morning - the cat is not pleased, because I kept laughing out loud, which disturbs the lap-sitting process. History, travel journal, memoirs, BookCrossing, and some hilarious footnotes - good stuff!]
You actually have a home?

Date: 2005-04-22 07:20 pm (UTC)I'm just sipping my first stove-top espresso. Much as I like Starbucks and wifi in combination, there's no substitute for the real thing. STE and broadband. With my cat beside me.

Date: 2005-04-22 07:22 pm (UTC)I've got any number of books in various stages of production, but I think I'll write up my Monopoly adventure in London next.
;-)
Date: 2005-04-22 08:06 pm (UTC)Have to share your 'waking up, admiring decor' story with my family; they'll love it, too.
Rest well, friend. And feel free to scritchy a cat in my name. ;-)

Date: 2005-04-22 08:36 pm (UTC)Have to get down to work soon to set everything in order. I've had a very busy month, what with the New Zealand and RTW trips, and I am sure that there are books unregistered and unjournalled.
