Invent a memory of me and post it in a comment. It can be anything you want, as long as it's something that's never happened. Then, post this to your journal and see what an interesting life you might have led in a parallel universe.

Hey, remember that time when you were backpacking in the Greek Islands, and that storm came up? Meant that all the ferries stopped, so you were stuck on that little island for ages - what was it called?. And the hostel was booked out, so you had to stay with that crazy old Greek lady who didn't speak any English at all, so you had this amazing week-long interlude where you communicated with your hostess in sign language, but she showed you all these amazing side-streets and fed you local food? I was so jealous when you told me about that one!

(Hey, who's this person writing random memories for me? It's oneocean, a bookcrosser, is who!)

I remember the first time you took me to an Australian Rugby game, and my big Canadian Maple Leaf t-shirt caught just enough attention that some of the players walked over to say hello prior to the game. I was so excited, but embarrassed because I didn't even know which team was which. So, while we chatted with them, I said, "I have to admit, I'm not sure which team to root."

It was funnier later, once people stopped screaming obscenities at me, and the police were done talking to us.

Well there was that time at band camp... ahem sorry to lower the tone *blush*

Well there was that time when you were climbing in Switzerland and you decided to strike out your own path instead of following the beaten one. You figured where the goats go, so could you that is until the path disappeared. But you being intrepid decided not to panic, whipped out your watch, set your barings by sun and watch to work out which way to go and headed that way, clambering over rocks, almost coming a cropper, ankle shaking but not twisting until you reached the top. The view from the top was amazing, you showed me the pictures later, definetly worth the climb but I was relieved to know that you decided to take the normal path back down and collapsed into a hot bath and bed that evening.
