My daily memory of a fantastic trip through a magic land with good friends. We drove from Wellington to Christchurch for the 2009 convention, and just before our group broke up we took a few timer pictures at Kaikoura after the whale-watching trip. I like the off-centre composition - a line of smiling heads in the centre of a photo is nice, but boring. Putting the group on one side, and myself down low, makes for more interest.
