I've just been contacted by Qantas. They like my article, but want to edit a few rough spots. Fair enough. It should be up on the Qantas Travel Insider site next week. I'll be interested to see what photographs and video footage gets chosen. I took some lovely shots - my favorite is of a tray of champagne flutes sparkling against a red desert backdrop - but I'm being very careful about posting them on flickr and elsewhere until the article is published, as supposedly all rights to the whole 4 gig worth pass to Qantas.

I'll keep on telling the story. Such a lot in a single weekend!
