Pete's travels, update

I'm in the Yotel capsule hotel in Gatwick South. My baggage is in Singapore, or possibly en route to Dublin, which is where I'm headed in a few hours for a brief stroll around the city and if all is well, I'll get to see Sirroy, Yokospungeon and the new arrival.

Whether my baggage will catch up in time for me to deliver the gifts I selected is a matter of conjecture.

Of more pressing interest to me is that I haven't changed my clothes for a couple of days.

I've got a night in Dublin and then I'm off to the USA, where there are two nights in Alexandria.

I have got through the first two entries...thanks. Oh and thanks for making us silver ffs feel inadequate. That said I am not sure I would want to do what you do to keep the status. Possibly a game to play in latter years. Retirement perhaps.
I haven't read any more coz skyring.com seems very slow tonight.

Far more than enough!

Which is one reason i like BookCrossing so much. I get to meet all of these fascinating women (and the odd bloke) and have a great time in their company. and then I just leave - no commitments, no worries.

Are you coming to Chicago at all? I can't remember. It turns out we won't be able to make it to Charleston. (Miriam needs to see a specialist doctor, it's a long story and will be explained more fully later), so if you are coming through Chi-town, please let me know! We'll be here!

My plane gets in at O'Hare tomorrow (Wed 8 Oct) at 1230 (AA93) and I leave for Washington at 1630 from same airport (different terminal) (AA1442). Assuming things go well, I'll have two or three hours to visit with you. Whatever is most convenient for you and Miriam. Are you within taxi distance?

Yet to be seen whether my bags catch up with me. I have Tim Tams and a present for Miriam, but in my baggage. Might have to post them from Chareleston...

Is there anything you need? If you let me know your size, I could pick up a clean pair of pants or something for you. Days w/out clean clothes must be very uncomfortable, I know I'd be miserable.

Seriously, it wouldn't be a problem. Or if you want, we could take a swing through a shop, we should have enough time.

We're just thrilled to get to see you, it'll be almost as good as going to Charleston.

Follow everyone else out to the road, and give me a call. We'll be waiting in the cell phone lot. Let us know where you are, and we'll pull up in a big blue SUV with plates that read "FROEBE".

We'll whisk you away for a quick visit and some yummy food. Oh, and Miriam hugs. :)

I went shopping in Dublin today. I'm right for undies. Strides and shirt might need replacing in a week or so.
