Five days

All is shambles.
I'm not packed.
My tax isn't done.
The downstairs room looks like a tip.
I've got stuff spread all over the dining room table.
Spilling off onto the floor.
I haven't bought Tim Tams.
I've yet to begin on promised artwork.

On the upside, I'm making progress on all fronts.
I've got most of the stuff I need for my travels within easy reach. Clothes will be washed on Friday - I've arranged for Friday off, and I'll need every minute of it. I'm selecting and registering books to take with me.

My GTD system, while a long way from perfect, is helping me Get Things Done.

I've completed the spreadsheet I need to do my GST BAS. I've got the money ready to pay it.

I've cleaned out a lot of stuff from downstairs. A lot remains in piles, but I can tidy that away easily enough.

The dining room table stuff is mostly things that I'll need to square away before going. It's happening. The stuff on the floor is books to register. The more valuable ones I'll put away to sell on eBay.

Tim Tams. Hmmmm.

Artwork. Hmmmm.

Will be done, just not today.

On the upside, I've made all my bookings, my papers are in order, I've got enough experience at packing to be able to throw everything together, and I have enough money to last the distance.

I've got four work nights to make a little more, and I'll fill in the few spare hours getting chores done.

Wikipedia and other time-wasters can look after themselves for a while.
