Aren't they stupendous? Did you recognize Christchurch and Banks Peninsular under the second photo? That one figures prominently in newspapers here at the time. The clarity is unbelievable.

Such fabulous clear photos and how eerie to think of those men outside above our heads!

If only Raukawa Moana was really as still as it appears in the photo fewer people would be ill on the ferries!
