This one tops them all

Only a little book, only one out the many I released along the way to the Convention, but this catch will have me singing happily to myself for a long time to come.

Wonderful!

I'm still chuffed to bits with having found a wild book on our Sunday morning run!

What a wonderful journal entry. It was so fabulous to finally to meet the delightful Kerri

Is this Kerri? She's lovely!!! I hope I get the chance to meet her someday too!!

And what a great catch. I think they really got the whole idea!

One of my favorite pictures of Kerri. It was worth the eight Euro just for that shot.

Taken in L'Orangerie gallery in Paris, where six of Monet's famous waterlily paintings are displayed. I had no idea they were so big!

And yes, I'd like Kerri to meet you - I've spent years telling her that Texas and Texans aren't like the movies.

Wonderful release, catch, and journal entry! How exciting!

Fabulous catch! Well done.

Fantastic! All catches (well, almost all) are wonderful, but once in awhile there's one that just shows the whole spirit of BookCrossing.

That is such a great JE. Congrats.
And your lovely wife quite outshines Mr Monet.

Isn't she lovely! And what a perfect backdrop.

That quite brought a lump to my throat! I hope it continues on its travels, and you will let us know if you hear more, won't you! Am glad you had such a marvellous time all round. I followed your journey with interest and more than a little jealousy, even though I didn't have much time to make comments!

Lovely pic of the wife, and beautifully framed!

Great catch!
I was very happy to finally meet Kerri! :-)

I was very happy to show you off - the angel who guided me around Frankfurt.

Pity we didn't have better weather. I've generally had clear and/or warm days in London, and I was hoping for some long walks along the Thames.

But Kerri had a wonderful time in the V&A while I was at the convention.

A highlight was checking out your Krumpler bags!

The weather got beter once the convention was over. Typical, isn't it?
Is that a new way of flirting with me? The "I liked your Crumpler" thing? ;-D

Are you bagging me out?

[identity profile] skyring.livejournal.com 2008-04-25 05:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Geez, I'd love to get into your bags!

No, it's just that I like the way Crumplers are made. I adore clever design and sturdy manufacture. I rely on my two bags to protect expensive equipment without the fastenings coming undone or the lining fraying or the straps breaking.

I guess I'm complimenting you by saying you have excellent taste, but if you read it as flirting, then let us get together one day and fondle each others Crumplers, sighing in shared ecstasy.

Na na na mister. I don'twant people to fondle my Crumpler. Hands off, do you hear?!!!!
;-)

Aw... lovely entry.

I recently looked at the Flickr photos of your trip and this was honestly one of my favourites. Of course, there's Kerri and Monet, but it's also something to do with the light and white background...
