Only a little book, only one out the many I released along the way to the Convention, but this catch will have me singing happily to myself for a long time to come.
That quite brought a lump to my throat! I hope it continues on its travels, and you will let us know if you hear more, won't you! Am glad you had such a marvellous time all round. I followed your journey with interest and more than a little jealousy, even though I didn't have much time to make comments!
No, it's just that I like the way Crumplers are made. I adore clever design and sturdy manufacture. I rely on my two bags to protect expensive equipment without the fastenings coming undone or the lining fraying or the straps breaking.
I guess I'm complimenting you by saying you have excellent taste, but if you read it as flirting, then let us get together one day and fondle each others Crumplers, sighing in shared ecstasy.
I recently looked at the Flickr photos of your trip and this was honestly one of my favourites. Of course, there's Kerri and Monet, but it's also something to do with the light and white background...

And yes, I'd like Kerri to meet you - I've spent years telling her that Texas and Texans aren't like the movies.

Date: 2008-04-25 01:39 am (UTC)Pity we didn't have better weather. I've generally had clear and/or warm days in London, and I was hoping for some long walks along the Thames.
But Kerri had a wonderful time in the V&A while I was at the convention.
A highlight was checking out your Krumpler bags!

Date: 2008-04-25 05:27 am (UTC)Is that a new way of flirting with me? The "I liked your Crumpler" thing? ;-D
Are you bagging me out?
