They are going to have a public memorial for Steve Irwin the "Crocodile Hunter" later this week.

This follows a small and understandably private family funeral on the weekend.

Sad to see him go, but I guess the way in which they saw his remains off was entirely appropriate.

The private funeral sounded really appropriate - tales of Steve around the campfire - what a nice way to be remembered by those close to you!
