Semagic probs
Jun. 26th, 2004 11:15 amA solution was found for my problems with the Semagic client. Use the W9X version instead of 2K+. Works.
A very patchy day in Canberra. Blue sky and white clouds. Might get some snow - there was certainly snow on the mountains yesterday and we got it lower down as rain. Took it very easy on the road when i went to pick up Kerri at the airport. Dark and wet and slippery.
Books piling up on Mt TBR. Went into the remainders shop in Belconnen markets and managed to escape with only one purchase, the latest in the Sharpe series. Found brie on special at the deli for 99c a go - 250g packages 4 days before useby. I wanted to buy up big, but cautious daughter dissuaded me, pointing out that even if it was really scrummy it was still full of fat. SIGH she's right of course, but at that price you could snarf up brie at the price of a Mars bar. Equally full of fat, I know, but somewhat less refined.
Kerri got up early and we took a turn around the block in the predawn. The cloud cover kept the heat in so it wasn't too bad.
End of financial year in a few days. Must go through my accounts and find out the awful truth.
***LATER. Semagic works, but doesn't post. Bugger.
