skyringYou remember that moment in National Lampoon's Animal House where Bluto looks at his watch and it's showing some totally weird time?
Well,it's like that here. Two calendars on the wall from two different countries (neither of them this one), showing two different months (neither of them this one) and two different years (woohoo! we have a winner, and a runner-up).
Also visible is the official burgee of the Gunroom (showing the Nelson chequer with a chelengk, if I ever get a yacht, this will be flown from the truck) and a divine Lyonel Feininger painting, or at least a print of one. I have carefully cropped this to remove any sight of the piles of books lurking on the landing.
