A Beautiful Sunday
May. 9th, 2004 03:25 pmIt really is. Clear and dry and sunny and still - Canberra late autumn. We'll walk down to the lake later on.
Mother's Day. Rang up Mum in Rocky and had a long chat - she's got two great grandchilder there and will be the matriarch at a family gathering. Took Kerri out for dinner at a Turkish restaurant last night and found ourselves unable to finish the excellent food. We all love Turkish, though I still can't come at the beetroot dip. Young John has a problem with his braces that precludes him chewing with his customary gusto and rather let the side down. Poor love - his braces come off in a week but we'll have to see if we can get him attended to tomorrow.
Just watched A Beautiful Mind which I enjoyed immensely. Might watch it again to pick up on the bits I missed.
One of my wild releases of yesterday was picked up. Just going to return the videos, might leave another copy of the same book in the same place. Heh.
