Back in the bosom...

...of the family. I was a little worried because my mobile phone is just about out of battery power and my recharger is probably somewhere over the Pacific now, but Kerri and the kids picked me up fine at the airport. Sydney airport can be a little daunting for the driver and i was wondering just how long I'd be able to spend in limbo after I left the Qantas club, havi ng confessed that no, I wasn't going to take that last flight after all, and being picked up. Perhaps I'd freeze solid in the bitter winter chill...

But Sydney doesn't get real cold. Even now, nine at night in midwinter, and a t-shirt is quite adequate.

I got to the in-laws' flat and pretty much collapsed. I meant to take DD to the Evil Bookshop, but I slept from about noon to five before surfacing again.

So the bookshop will happen tomorrow, and i want to get out and about with my camera and tripod.
