My copy of "The Champagne Trail", which I left outside "The Bollinger Bar" on Park Lane in April, has been caught! bhttp://bookcrossing.com/journal/2595143

A new member who seems to "get" BookCrossing.

I wonder how it got from a phone box to a train seat in six months, though!

Pete, chuffed

Oh - you left a journal entry after the person who found it. I thought we couldn't do that because then it looks like we have the book again. I always want to do that though, to encourage whoever who found it.

Purists may scoff, but sometimes I conduct entire conversations on a recently caught book! And sometimes you get a book that is caught before you get a chance to write release notes.

I think in this case it's plain what's happened. Besides, I wanted to slide another photograph in.

That is a nice catch Pete! Have any of your other Monopoly releases been caught? (By the way I think that is a brilliant idea for a themed release.)

Strange you should mention this!

"Unofficial Secrets" in Whitehall.
"The Third George" in Northumberland Avenue.
"The Omega Point" at Fenchurch Street Station.
"Tomorrow, When the War Began" in Coventry Street. (This was caught but not journalled - the young lady sent me a PM, but hasn't yet journalled the book.)
"Diana" at the "Waterworks".
