Day trip to China
Jun. 28th, 2005 03:05 pmKerri's travelling again - she's addressing a medical conference in Beijing. Only needs to be there for the afternoon, but I hope the Chinese throw in a couple of nights accomodation. And maybe she'll get some time off for sightseeing. Jet lag won't be much of a problem - they are only a few hours behind us, and at that time of year they'll be autumn while we are spring.
Qantas has credited one of my missing flights. I just have the DFW-SFO leg to go. 15 more status points needed for Silver and extra baggage allowance. If I read the points table correctly, I should just make it.
My plans for next year revolve around Dunedin in February and Toronto in April. Carrying bags of books via the US is no great hassle, in fact I probably couldn't physically carry everything I'm entitled to, but if I fly to New Zealand by myself, I could really use the extra allowance.
