Pete's Peto
Jun. 18th, 2005 07:56 pmI uploaded "Mount Toberead" to the Wikipedia article on John F Peto. One of the highlights of the January trip to Washington was the National Museum of American Art which had some fantastic paintings, besides being a fabulous building in its own right. On of the great joys of the past few months has been getting to see some wonderful galleries. OK, so the Tate Modern was a dreadful disapppointment, but it had a couple of nice pictures, including a Pollack I drooled over.
And I friended two BookCrossers today -
cerisefleur and
sirroy.
Had a good day on the book sales front. Some bloke in Belgium has bough a stack of my old Moves magazines. He negotiated a discount on them, resulting in the postage dropping from $US39 to $3.50, which was fair enough, as they are only light. I gave him a discount for bulk which came off the postage as well. Mind you, these are spares - I don't sell my own copies of Moves or S&T!
