Now that the pressure is off...

skyringI don't think it's any secret that I've been feeling a little pressured lately. Having to make the university presentation was a big deal for me, and I envy those who can always manage to say the right things at the right time. So I'll be turning AIM back on now.
Mind you, the local power company is cutting electricity during business hours tomorrow, which is a major bummer for me. I depend on the Internet a great deal, and so I'll be out of action for seven hours, unless I want to go into town and pay to use an Internet cafe or pay hourly rates at Starbucks or something.
I can get a few hours' use out of the laptop, so I might seize the chance to get the support documentation finished, so long as I remember to transfer the files across.
I've been thinking some more about my novel idea. At the moment there's not enough to hang a whole novel off, but I'm having a great deal of fun thinking of things to do with it. It's a place where different rules apply, and I'm working through what those rules might be, once one accepts the rather extraordinary premise of the situation.
