Finally a message from Kerri!

I made it.  I'm late in sending this message because initially the hot spot information was in German.  Someone kindly pointed out the language option hidden in the top right corner of the opening page.  I struggle with German and German won.

The meeting is going well.  Within minutes I am going on a walking tour of Berlin and will see where the wall used to be, among other highlights of the city.

I'll be home so quickly you'll barely notice I've gone.

Tomorrow I chair the meeting, my second time.  I feel that is quite an honor.

Odd to think of someone going on a walking tour of a strange city without a bag of books to help them along.

She gets back home the day affer tomorrow. We may have to do a little tidy-up, get the goats out of the lounge room, reassemble the washing machine, stuff like that. The pile of shells on the front lawn, we'll throw them over the fence tonight when the moon goes down.

I do, actually. We kept goats when I was a child. My sister was allergic to cows milk (and just about everything else) so we always had a couple of goats around the place. Mum was forever chasing them out of the garden.

I got chased by a goat once out at my Great Uncle's place. (I was 4 or 5). It ate the pocket off my jeans! I was not amused. Uncle Gus thought it was hilarious though.

This was the same man who built a guillotine for decapitating chickens.

Anyway, I know a bit from goats, for instance: they like to eat denim!
