Turkish delight

One of the most deeply satisfying days of the trip. I love Istanbul's grand sights. Not so happy about the touts, especially in the Grand Bazaar, which made the colourful bustle rather unpleasant.

But we have walked and dined well. Highlight for me was Ayasofya, the great museum ex mosque ex cathedral. We went inside and I got some amazing photographs. Which I will upload when not so bonetired.

That's one helluva town! Turkish touts are OK: just ignore, make no eye contact, and they drop off. However, that doesn't work in Egypt, where a Kalashnikov is recommended.
