Fall guy

Well, the leaves are a-turnin' and the sky is grey, and I'm off to California tomorrow. When I get back, the trees in Canberry here are going to be past their prime.

In the meantime, if you love me at all, could you head over to this Facebook page and take a look at the photo of a big old autumn leaf, held by two of the cutest little children you ever saw? Their mother, when they were spooning out the beauty, went around for seconds and thirds, and it shows fair enough. Oh yeah, if enough people say they like the photo on Facebook, then she gets a reward of some sort. Not sure what, but it would be sweet glory indeed to see her smile!

In other news, I've been reading a book by Fannie Flagg, called "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe" and apart from winning awards for best book title of the year, it's messed with my brains and I'm full right up with happy.

I would be happy to make you and your friend happy, but it won't allow me to "like" it. I think ones needs to be a friend to do that, and I am reluctant to send a friend request in case she thinks I am some nutter! If she is expecting to be friended by old women half a world away, then I would be happy to do so, for you :=)
