Set up my page format for Bookcrossing through OZ. It's the same size as the previous: six inches by nine. This time I've got the margins sorted out for facing pages, and the correct font size so it's readable without too much difficulty. Copied over the title pages from the previous and modified them to suit. Printed out the first dozen pages, stapled them up and gave them to my daughter to criticise. She found a few rough spots, but liked it, pronouncing it better than the first one. That's encouraging!

Working on the cover. This is liable to have some tricky bits in, so I bought a Photoshop manual in order to have a clue as to how to go about doing what I want to do.

I've got a few photographs I need to take to fill in a few gaps. Definitely need a picture of Madge. Another of the Great Dividing Range sign on the way to Sydney. Must find a book to hang off it.

Took a look at the Sunrise program. there's quite a bit of action outside the studios in Martin Place. With my bright yellow Bookcrossing bag I should stand out for the cameras in two weeks' time.

Daughter's final exam for the year. A month or so until she heads off for Vietnam. Bit of a tragedy as her final mouse succumbed to parasites, a day after she lost her five year old matriarch. She's been breeding mice for years and years and she's got none left. Don't know if she'll start up again next year - rather hope she doesn't.
