Sorry. I should have mentioned. I called up the taxi base and reported it immediately after taking the photographs. I'm following it up with a letter to the fleet manager, enclosing photographs.

It's not as if we don't have plenty of higher capacity taxis serving the airport. In fact the disabled groups have been complaining that all the larger taxis - the ones equipped for wheelchairs - are spending too much time at the airport hoping for long fares, instead of the "pop-round-the-corner-to-the-shops" sorts that disabled folk need.

Nor would I complain if this had been some sort of late night emergency run and the alternative was a long wait - and sometimes people can wait hours - for another taxi. Nope. This was peak hour, there were plenty of taxis of all sorts around, and this cabbie thought he'd brazenly break the law at our most visible taxi location.

I'm going to put my hand up and stand up on this one.
