  • 13:13 I have spoken with one who has traced its length. He says it's a road, but there is no silk. The tale has been embroidered. #
  • 13:30 Disappointed. Heard from a travelling friend who has traced its length. It is a road, but there is no silk. The tale has been embroidered. #
  • 18:14 This Silk Road business. There is no silk in it. It is a fabrication. #

Sales of TGLAPPPS are starting to take off. The publishers seem slow to respond. There's not even a fresh paperback edition for a few months yet and the bookstores only have the hardcover. Mind you, that's only 20p dearer than the paperback, but a lot of people have a mental block with hardcovers, finding them expensive even when they're not.

When the paperback edition is published, hardbacks are often reduced to just above the paperback price. That's the time to buy.

You won't mind if I unfriend you? This twitter thing bends my brain.

I'll turn off the LJ accumulation. If it's bothering you, it's probably bothering others, and this whole blogging thing is supposed to be fun.

She seems the happy, food and drink and friends-centred person she ever was. She wasn't at the London convention?

But, of course, you could always join Twitter...
