Making a meal of it,

It might be a very chilly dawn in Washington DC, but here in Australia it's pushing midnight. I've delayed dinner until I could finish my shift and cook up a few hotdogs. No root beer to be found, but I've got some sarsparilla to tide me over. Oreos and coffee for afters.

Watching the Good Morning America coverage, seeing the incredible crowds moving in. Amazing to think that I was there only a couple of months ago. Love to be there again today.

Not me! I wouldn't be there for all the $ in the world. Ugh. Watching it on the news from my warm living room is more than enough for me.

My brother's in the US at the moment. He thought about going to DC for the inauguration but commonsense prevailed - transport and accommodation problems for a start. He's in San Diego instead...

I didn't watch the coverage (had to be up at 5.00am to go to work) but have recorded some of it to watch later today.
