For some reason, I wanted to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly and Moon River. Movies don't get much better than this.

There's something about New York in the Sixties. Those towers, the yellow cabs, the men in their narrow suits and ties, the women in gorgeous, Lady Liberty in the distance, Pet Clark belting out "Downtown" and the hustle of the streets. Just add Audrey for magic.

I've just downloaded Handbrake onto the Macair to rip Breakfast at Tiffany's onto my iPhone for my viewing pleasure between passengers.

And I got Paris When it Sizzles for extra sighs.

Roman Holiday is only a matter of time.

One of cinema's great characters. Having Audrey play her was a superb casting choice. Oddly enough, the movie also contains one of cinema's great miscasts.
