After a hiatus caused by the sudden death of our beloved brown Burmese boy, we've once again got a cat in the house. Kerri and DD went up to Sydney for the handover, and returned mid-afternoon with this little darling.

We've called her Misty. She's a Burmilla - a cross between a Burmese and a Chinchilla. She's actually genetically black furred, but "ticked" with white. The overall effect is stunning - a silver cat. She's gorgeous.

Born on the Queen's Birthday, which is the second Monday in June (i.e. the 9th), so she's just on two months old.
