On the way home, we stopped in at the airport to watch the A380 superjumbo take to the air. An awesome sight!

I don't fly Singapore Airlines - wrong alliance for me - and it's going to be a while before Qantas gets 'em. August this year, apparently, and they'll be on the LAX-Melbourne run to begin with, which is not a sector I'd normally take.
