It woke my wife and daughter. Just a slight vibration, apparently, but quite recognisable as a quake.

I can sleep through earthquakes, too! The only recent earthquake in Germany that was actually felt by humans, about 1990, at 5.5. Everybody else was woken up by their rattling kitchenware, just I slept til morning and thought my friends were having me on. Earthquake? Yeah, right. :-)
