Booked and paid for our flights to Melbourne and the 2007 ABC via Auckland. Unlike the last couple of times, we'll be crossing the Tasman on some decent sized aircraft. A LAN Airbus 340 going over and a Qantas jumbo coming back. Took me a lot of juggling to find flights at reasonable hours that allow for drives to and from Te Puke. Major change from previous plans is that we'll pull into Melbourne on Thursday evening. The alternative was to arrive early Friday, which would have meant an early departure from Auckland and a day of bumming around Melbourne before checking in.

Off to Sydney tomorrow - Kerri wants to see some display at the Powerhouse, and we're taking my sister the professor, down from Rocky, along as well. Should be fun. I'm knocking off work early - midnight - to allow enough rest before the trip.

Last night I'll have to write up, but it was stressful, involving car breakdowns and terrorists.

At first I wondered why you were going to Melbourne from Canberra via Auckland but as soon as I saw Te Puke I could understand. Has your daughter actually started her NZ stint yet? I've lost track of when you said she'd be there.

On a completely diferent topic the only spaces in London St Pauls are in 9 bed rooms. Not for us I don't think, but thanks.
