Sucky sign in
Mar. 29th, 2010 12:14 pmI have to log in and out of Flickr now and then. And when Flickr needs to be logged into, it sends you off to Yahoo first. So you need a Yahoo identity as well as a Flickr ID. And I don't use Yahoo.
Except as the necessary gateway to Flickr. My usual screen-name was taken when Flickr decided that Yahoo was the only way in, so I had to pick another name, and of course I usually forget which name I used, so I have to try a few variations until I get the right one.
Why can't I just sign directly into Flickr? Is this a way of getting me to look at Yahoo on the way through? Like if you pop into a supermarkt for a litre of milk, you have to walk all the way to the back of the markt and be tempted by specials and chocolate there and back.
