[livejournal.com profile] jfroebe found a cartoon strip called Full Frontal Nerdity which [livejournal.com profile] n8an really ought to see. He pointed out a particular strip as being "SO Skyring". Humph.

Finally got a portion of my act together, formatted all my Manly Books chapters, converted them into PDFs and uploaded them to Lulu. There's a great number of errors, the writing is still crap, but at least everything's in one place. I might take advantage of Lulu's free book offer for NaNoWriMos to get a copy printed. Heh, written, published and printed within a month.

Calissa reckons that it's not in the easiest format for reading, and of course she is right. And now I'm going to make it even more user-vicious by adding a new voice in the third person to keep track of the meanderings of the stalker. This will need a bit of research, but then again I've got my own stalker to draw on, with six years of on-line experience, even though I've only seen the bastard once or twice in the flesh.

This morning I cleaned up the driveway and carport, using a shovel, a rake and a broom to clear out all the muck. The drains work too - cleaned out all the mud and tested them out with a final hose-down of the concrete. Probably against the letter of the water restrictions, but really I think that unobstructed drains help more than hinder, allowing all that water to flow straight into the stormwater system, and I'm getting a bit weary of having a carport that fills up with mud every time we get a storm.

Having fun with wikipedia, exposing people who think that political rhetoric is a substitute for truth. Thanks for putting me onto this, Servalan!
