Cute nephews
Nov. 6th, 2004 11:05 pmSpent the day with my sister in Gosford. That's about a four hour drive there and another four back. We attended my nephew D's dedication in my sister's church, a cheerful, family oriented congregation that is always fun to attend. A picnic at a waterside park later, which was pleasant, and then back to her place to see a video comipled by my brother-in-law of D and his brother K, who is now three years old and cute as anything. With bright red hair.
My teenage daughter can't get enough of the two boys and would cheerfully drive up every weekend.
I'm not keen on eight or nine hours driving, especially when I've got so many other things to do, but I took the opportunity to release a book on the way. The picture will be helpful in my book.
Decided to switch around the Animals and People chapters to help the narrative flow. That solves a few small problems. Only had time for a bit of tinkering today, mainly adding the above mentioned picture. Have to put in a very solid day's work tomorrow!
One good thing about the day's drive is that it allowed us to listen to the final audio book in John Marsden's "Tomorrow, When the War Began" series. Ties up all the loose ends.
