http://razghul.ice.org/misc/zoom/zoom.htm - not to be tried when half-tanked.

A good Bookcrossing Meetup. We had six people. This is pretty much a record. HeidiAussie turned up for the third time running and we exchanged a book or two. She released a book about a Maori family which I snapped up, and there were some other interesting books on the table. We talked until about nine when the Starbucks staff began to shut up shop.

Committed myself to having a draft of my book ready for the next meetup, which is less than a month away now. That's only a few days before the Sydney convention starts and I want to have a few draft copies printed up by then.

Weather is fine and clear. We need rain. Still, it's good weather for releasing and I've had a couple of exploits recently.

http://bookcrossing.com/journal/2084735 is a good one - the surprised finder took a photo as he thought "nobody would believe me".
I had some fun with "Super Bugs" with a nifty themed release.
And this morning I went hunting for a good release position. Was arranging a book in the branches of a wattle tree near Defence Force HQ when I was surprised by someone walking to work through the bush behind me. I finally found a spot on Northcott Drive.
