Missing Kerri

The phone rang a few minutes ago and I grabbed hold of it, thinking it might be my wife on a transglobal call, but no, it was some poor bugger pretending to be running a competition amongst local house owners to win a new roof treatment. I was polite but short. Got the roof repointed a couple of years back and the great galumphing Tongans the chap employed broke more tiles than they fixed. At least they cemented the chimney cover on, which is good because the fireplace has been sealed up for decades, and the last thing i want is gunk getting into it.

Another dead possum on the power line. At least it's not high summer, and I use the word "high" advisedly.

Got my weather module done. Did a bit more work on the database. Got my books posted. Picked up the bubblewrap sleeves I've been waiting on for a few weeks.

Confirmation from Amazon that my Gettysburg book isn't available. Bugger.
