O'Hare

Oh, but I am so so far behind!a

I'm currently in the lounge at Chicago's O'Hare, with my flight to San Francisco only a few minutes away.

Had a great convention, met some wonderful people and spent time with old friends. I love this all so much, but oh boy, does it wear me out!

Spent the rainy Sunday afternoon driving down to Niagara on the Lake (again) with some of my Patrick O'Brian friends. http://www.hmssurprise.org/Photos/Short/index.php?chg_node=22

Now off to do some relax in San Fran and Hawaii. Apart from travel stuff, all I need do is see Pearl Harbour and a ship. I might catch up on sleep. And writing.

I'm halfway through a full Charleston report.

Awaiting your report, sir. Seems like the Lissuns fed you well. Oh, probably you will have gained a few kilos, after being fed all those local specialities, right? ;-)

good to see you!

I know O'Hare is one of the busiest (the?) airports in the nation, but it's one of my favorites!

Enjoy your time there and have a great flight. Now start relaxing!

I'm hoping I'll get to see you while you're here. I'll send a pm through bookcrossing with my phone number.
Would you like to go out for a meal at some point?
I'm pretty busy with writing this damn paper, but I would be disappointed not to see you.

Will you be making the trip out to the Arizona Memorial? If so, would you shed a tear for me?

On your next around the world trip, you need to schedule a couple of days someplace like Hillsboro, where there is nothing to do but read and sit in the porch swing.
