Quick update

skyringThe big drawback of this travelling life is that I don't have time to check in with all my online friends as much as I'd like.
The big advanatge is that I can meet a lot of them in the flesh.
Jim Hawkins, Nordie, CelticStar, Mr and Mrs F-B and a whole bunch of others assembled at the Shakespeare in Bridgnorth last night - a charming pub in a quaint village, and we all played skittles.
I don't have time to give the event full justice, but let me say that I enjoyed it immensely. The perfect English evening - none of this big-city cosmopolitan plastic coated stuff they go on with. This was real hand hewn skittles with splinters and cider and oak beams and all.
I'm on the radio in a little while - it's an early update today - and then I'm racing off for the train to catch my flight out to Frankfurt.
