You may call me out of touch.

The delightful CoffeeBron texted me this arvo, and when I sent back a short reply, it took me about half an hour of puzzling over the keys to get out a simple four word message. The punctuation was the tricky point.

And then she utterly humiliated me by sending a long message in rely all of sixty seconds later. ***SIGH***

Bron, you really should get an LJ account, even if you never put anything in it, because then I could friend you and you'd get to see a whole lot more, including all the saucy comments left by my LJ buddies.

Off to my BookCrossing gathering tonight - must rush!

Hurrah, lucky us Sydneysiders! I'll see you tonight (assuming no small child has a meltdown this evening...).

Fair's fair - you don't text me!

I'm not much good with phones at all really. I have one, but I rarely ring anybody.

I am stunned to find that there is some technology that gives you difficulty!!

In the other hand all the BEST people have a LJ so CoffeeBron should definitely be encouraged to get one too.

Hugs Pete and disappears to ChitChat

I used to have problems texting till I figured out the t9 way of texting, now I'm much better, still can't get capital letters though!

Use predictive text, my dear man. Someone as adept with laptops, frequent flyer points and wireless internet as you should be able to master the art.

I'm considering the LJ account thing.

But since when was 'friend' a verb???

Hi, Bron!

I do use predictive text. I'm still awful. But you could text for Australia!

I shoulda turned up for the SnB - it's been ages since I saw you. Now that there's a bite in the air knitting makes a lot more sense! Did you see the pic of Denise and Jenny in yesterday's paper?

Speaking of papers, Bookczuk has been tormenting her local paper.

(Anonymous) 2006-03-30 01:42 pm (UTC)(link)
No! I read today's cover to cover, heaven only knows where yesterday's has gone. Haven't made it to SnB yet, and have no idea when I will - I believe the next Thurs it's on I have to work.

*pout*

Do you knit? It's good for the brain, not szo good for the fingers. But no worse than typing too much, I expect.

I do Sudoku instead - it's good for the brain. Or at least it s until I screw the paper up in a ball and hurl it into the bin, red-faced and swearing.
