Safe on the far side of the world

Email from Kerri, using steam-driven Swedish computer, announcing safe arrival and castigating Heathrow management practices. Glad she made it. She is very tired after day and half travelling. Tomorrow is getting to know her opposite number in Uppsala, having a poke around old town, getting lost, eaten by wolves etc.

Raining in Canberra. Been drizzling all day yesterday with no oomph to it, hopefully today is day of meaty rain soaking everything. Will hold off on hanging out laundry.
