News article shakes loose a memory

skyring"When we found this book we didn't know or realise what 'bookcrossing' was. Thought this may have been left behind by a visitor, backpacker perhaps. A few weeks ago we read an article about bookcrossing and the penny dropped. (We found another book that morning after reading the article in the paper. Thats another story and that book was BCID xxx-3339146) I have read this book and now will let it go. It has been sitting on our bookshelf since Feb 2003 and I suppose Skyring may have given up on this surfacing again but its on its way and I plan to leave it at a camping ground in the Victorian Alps this coming weekend. The book is now off on new adventures."
