Pete in the Paper

Thanks to Peggysmum for this opportunity to promote BookCrossing, though somehow the journalist seemed to find me more interesting. Which I'd prefer more focus on others and less on me.

An opportunity for other Canberra BookCrossers to bombard John Martin with their own stories, I think!

Very pleased with the article and photo, all told. The photographer kept me smiling, and was quick and efficient.

Now, off to drop a few books at the release zone he mentioned...

I remember watching your Monopoly releases at the time, and thinking what a brilliant idea it was. And I'm so glad your family only think you are a "bit" mad, mine think I'm totally nuts - Very well done :)

I don't know if nice-cup-of-tea saw your monopoly releases or if she had the idea on her own, fact is, that I am the proud owner of a monopoly special edition of Zürich, which is waiting for spring to happen so that we can have a big release challenge here in Zürich / Switzerland.

Great article and great picture!!!

Great article! I must admit I tried to see if I recognised any of the books in the pile as having passed through my hands, alas I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see a damn thing :-)
Congrats on the publicity, it's all good!
