That was just wonderful! A CD of the show is being made up and will be sent around. The BCUK group just went wild during the show - I think they all sent the presenter an email!

I wung him while he was registering his first book - my own fair dinkum money for that, but when he noticed and asked BookCrossing to wing LeneyCakes, who he said did all the legwork, I just gave her a month's worth of wings and told her it was a big thank you from the BookCrossing Support Team.

Steve was fantastic - you could hear the smile and love in his voice as he spoke. LaneyCakes had had a book caught, and the finder rang up in the middle of the show. A few of the usual suspects rang in and others sent emails - minxie got a guernsey, as did Yoko.

And many others. ***SIGH*** It was just wonderful. Might take me a while to come back to earht.

minx2012 looks like running the CD ring. I've asked her on BCUK to add you on.

BBC Shropshire is going to put up a "listen again" link on their website.

Jim Hawkins, the presenter, has signed up on BCUK and is going to get other regional stations to run shows. His boss is very impressed with his global reach!

I'm listening to the BCUK files now. I love that group! Thank goodness I joined way back when! I periodically can dip in for a visit and always come away feeling good.

I would love to listen to the CD or maybe download mp3 or wav files of it. I just saw that the BCC site has some bits of it online now, but they require RealPlayer and I don't like Real's business practices (spam, etc.) so I won't install their player on my machine.

Minxie has put up bits on her Renegados site. Not sure what format they are in.

Jim the presenter, Laneycakes his assistant and poperinpear the intern have all signed up on BCUK.

Thanks. Found three .rm files on the BCUK site (I just signed up), but they too are for RealPlayer. Oh well.
