skyring2 350 words to date, not much in the way of structure. Defined a style right from the start. Garamond 10 with 6 points before and after - hopefully this will squash some of the formatting problems I had last time around.
I think I'll start with Canberra. "Canberra is the centre of all things. All roads lead to Canberra." Yeah. that sounds about right.
Take it from there and see how it goes. I've got my Old Arms piece to mark the War Memorial at the other end of the land axis from Parliament House, and of course I've done releases all around the place. All around the grand public buildings.
Then follow the Encyclopaedia Britanica releases up Northbourne Avenue to Sydney and north to Rockhampton. Leave a copy of Tropic of Capricorn on the Tropic of Capricorn.
I've been there last year, probably go again this winter. Melbourne down the Hume, been there three times as a Bookcrosser, probably go again for the winter developers' conference.
Sydney needs another trip, but I can re-use that magical night when I saw/heard St Matthew Passion at the Opera House. A night to treasure, that.
I'll need to do a fair bit of research - hope the site gets up again - it's down now after a mild hacking.
