skyringWell, as can be seen from the current high price of USD345.67, I swung and missed at the Crossing Zone painting. That's about $500 in real money not counting shipping and probably a little more than I want to pay for this painting.
Having said that, I'm not averse to spending a bit on some decent art. I've got some old prints from the early French expeditions to the SW Pacific, a huge great semi-abstract of Hailes Abbey, a couple of nice watercolours from local artists, and of course my Will Ashton which cost me an embarrassing amount of money, but is absolutely gorgeous.
Need to save my pennies for London/Fort Worth next year.
Spending a bit of time playing with my ASP.NET site. Ditched the Bookcrossing theme and decided to revamp my old Magic game. Had fun trying out various controls, but I guess I'll stick with a simple table. Of course it will be a long time before it works as it should, but in the meantime I can have a lot of fun mucking about with it.
Possibly too much fun - I really shouldn't take too much time from writing.
