I can hear! I went to the local doctor, he got this huge metal thing full of warm water, stuck it in my ear and blasted the wax out. Huge gobbets of it. I may also have solved my weight problem right there.

But I can hear, with amazing and sometimes painful clarity.

And now I'm poised on the brink of NaNoWriMo, on the edge of the falls, sliding into the tight corner a little too fast, head high and eyes bright.

Me too. I'm terrified of NaNoWriMo, truth be told. What if I can't fit in that many words alongside Christmas? Aaaaaaaaaa...

Pete, I have had tha done to me since aged 6. Still have to get it done every now and then, but less regularly than when I was a kid. I am told I have very narrow ear canals....

Its a weird sensation isn't it? Esp the air bubbles!! They can hurt and often make you feel dizzy afterwards!

I used to have it done it all the time as kid and it hurt heaps, I had lots of ear trouble which has caused my hearing loss now.

I am glad it is fixed but I would have thought the in-house physician would have taken care of it!

Good luck for NaNo

The inhouse doctor tried with a small plastic syringe, but she didn't have an earoscope to see inside.

So I had to go to the outhouse doc.

I hope the outhouse doctor had modern plumbing, LOL.

Hugs to you and Dr in the House
